Welcome to Heritage Academy

Organized in 1969, Heritage Academy is a private, nonprofit, independent, Biblical Christian school. It offers spiritual and academic standards to families in the Tri-state area. The primary objectives and purposes of the school are to train students in the knowledge of God and the Christian way of life and to provide the best education in all subject areas.

The school had its beginning several years before 1969 as dedicated Christian parents began to pray earnestly for a Christian school where their children could be taught according to God's Holy Word. These dedicated Christian parents saw their prayers answered as the doors to Heritage Academy opened in 1969 with Dr. Robert Billings as administrator and Mr. William Vimont as headmaster.

Today, Heritage Academy ministers to students in grades kindergarten-four through twelve on an eleven-acre campus located six miles west of Hagerstown, Maryland.

Heritage Academy envisions a continually-growing, prayer-supported ministry until the Lord Jesus Christ returns to call away His own.
